Last Thursday (May 10), the National Arts Council of Singapore held a jazz festival 2022 in honor of Singapore's 50th birthday. The festival took place at the Esplanade's performing arts center (Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay) and featured performances by jazz musicians such as the Bobby & Liz Wansbrough Trio. In fact, the festival was so popular that tickets were sold out. There were also plenty of food and beverage options to choose from. These included the Chef's Garden Pop-up, the Esplanade's bar and restaurant, and even the Tan. There are few cities that have as rich of a cultural history as New Orleans. With roots that run deeper than most others, it is no surprise that the city is home to some of the most amazing forms of music in the world. On April 28 and April 29 the city will host the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. Here's a little bit about what this festival is, what you can expect, and how you can make the most of it. The 34th Annual Monterey Jazz Festival was thrown recently in honor of the late great, John Coltrane. There were thousands of jazz fans, music legends and fresh young talent.
