DGCrane, based in Henan Province, China, is getting ready to ship two sets of 30 ton gantry cranes together with two sets of 16t gantry cranes to Qatar before December. Qatar orders gantry crane for DGCrane DGCranes received an inquiry from a Qatari customer for two sets of 30t double girder gantry cranes in December 2015. These two sets of 30t gantry cranes, which have a span length of 24m, will be used in a precast concrete plant to handle precast beams. The maximum lifting load is 40t. The two sets of 30t gantry cranes run on the same rails and operate synchronously , with two trolleys on each crane. In order to better fulfill this requirement, DGCrane engineers suggested using a PLC system. DGCrane supplied drives from SEW for trolley traversing and crane traveling, to support the crane’s heavy duty use and make crane maintenance easier.
