Arteta's side were humbled by newly-promoted Brentford on the opening day before falling to a lacklustre home defeat at the hands of Chelsea.

Arsenal's poor form has seen Arteta put under immense pressure to deliver results quickly in order to keep hold of his job.
They will face Norwich City on Saturday and it has been suggested that another defeat could see the Spaniard relieved of his duties.
Conte, who led Inter to their first Serie A title in a decade last season but is currently out of a job, has been linked with the potential vacancy in recent weeks.

However, it seems as though a return to the Premier League with Arsenal is not on the 52-year-old's agenda for now.
The Gunners have reached out to Conte in order to discuss the role, but their advances have been firmly rejected, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
The report claims that Conte is yet to be persuaded as he is convinced that he deserves a 'very different opportunity'.
He is said to be holding out for an offer from a Champions League side in order to consider a return to management.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will eventually lose patience with Arteta if he is unable to turn the club's form around over the next few matches.
The three-time Premier League champions were the division's biggest spenders during the summer transfer window, splashing in excess of £150million on six new players.
Meanwhile, former England striker Darren Bent recently warned that Arteta may already be on thin ice behind closed doors, suggesting that he could soon be given the sack unless a miraculous recovery can be engineered.
